Brasov Walks

Brasov Walks (Plimbări prin Brașov) is a project initiated by Bernhard Moestl with the collaboration of the Association for the Promotion and Development of Tourism in Brasov County. This project is aimed at attracting tourists in Romania, especially in the Transylvania region. Making use of his reputation earned as a writer in the German-speaking countries (over 700,000 books sold), Bernhard Moestl, currently living in Brasov, wishes to stir the interest of his readers in visiting this country and this way, changing the wrong impression that many still have when it comes to Romania.

The beauty of a medieval town

The trips organized in Brasov and its surroundings will thus allow tourists to discover the true Romanian values and traditions, the beauty of a medieval town and rural landscapes almost untouched in certain areas. This initiative is also beneficial for the interested hotels, which, besides getting free advertising, will be able to exclusively offer clients 25% discount vouchers for any trip organized within the Brasov Walks project. Partner hotels will be provided, free of charge, with marketing material folders customized for each hotel.

Fascinating ideas

Bernhard Moestl, the project initiator, is famous for his experience in traveling. The writer wants to offer an attractive product for tourists, persuading as many of them possible to choose Brasov as their tourist destination. They say that when Bernhard Moestl speaks, the audience listens overwhelmed. His fascinating ideas and the 25 years of experience have turned Bernhard Moestl into a high class speaker. He uses an impressive way of proving the influence power of our minds.

"German for everybody"

"German for everybody" is another project that Bernhard Moestl initiated, and which was launched in May by means of a free event organized only for the people from Brasov.
The participants took part in a short demonstrative German class, after which they enjoyed some German, Austrian, Swiss traditional music. They also tasted Viennese coffee specialties. At the end of the show, everyone present participated in a contest, the winner being rewarded with the possibility of attending a free German intensive class.
