Poiana Brasov is the most famous resort for winter sports in Romania and, at the same time, an important international tourism centre. There are 12 skiing slopes with different levels of difficulty, sport grounds, one lake, bars and restaurants.

Access in the resort
Access in resort Poiana Brasov may be done from towns Brasov and Rasnov, through two modernized roads, as well as through various tourism tracks starting from towns: Brasov, Timisu de Sus, Timisu de Jos, Paraul Rece, Rasnov and Cristian.

Cable transportation
Magnetic cards are used for cable transportation. They can have several value points, one way up by gondola car and old cable car with 6 points, and one by ski lift with 3, 2 or 1 point, depending on the slope.
