Predeal ? an excellent destination

Predeal town, located at the highest altitude in the country, respectively 1060 m, on Prahova Valley, in the most important pass between Muntenia and Transylvania is prepared for winter holiday. The tourists can reach this place on the national road DN1, or by train. The wonderful, magic landscape is offered by five massifs: Postavarul, Piatra Mare, Bucegi, Baiului and Fetifoi. Predeal is currently known as a winter tourism resort for its ski slides.
Winter tourism offer
In order to offer a special climate to our tourists for spending their winter holiday, the Town Hall of Predeal resort and tourism operators included the celebration of Christmas and New Year?s Eve in the network of hotel restaurants and boarding houses, offering a wide range of services, beginning with exceptional artistic programs and ending with rich traditional food recipes and from the international gastronomy. The offer it attractive and everyone can afford it. There are both boarding houses and highest class certificated hotels in the resort. They have swimming pool, sauna, hammam, jacuzzi, fitness room, massage, bodybuilding, tanning equipments, sports grounds and 2+1 packages. Other recreation possibilities: bowling, billiards, organisation of one-day trips on mountain tracks, winter sports and cable transportation services.
Rental centres
Tourism operators have prepared to welcome the tourists willing to practice winter sports and they have arranged the rental centres for sports equipments, snowmobiles and ATVs. The ski monitors are ready to train the beginners and ski schools are organized for children and adults. At the same time, night clubs and discos have been rearranged to offer special programs all along the holiday, but also with special Chistmas and New Year programs.
On the mountains of Predeal, at 1070 ? 1520 m high, one can go by cable transport, chairlift and teleski: Clabucet Sosire (Arrival), Clăbucet Plecare (Departure) and Pârâul Rece.
Skiing slides
?We are prepared to welcome tourists in the winter season and all skiing slides have been rigorously controlled. We have paid special attention to very difficult skiing slides with level and slope differences. The mountain rescuers are prepared and have standard equipments for interventions, being ready at all moments to intervene if necessary. We recommend to amateur and performance ski runners, as well as to snowboard users to respect the conduct rules on the slides. Artificial snow has been prepared and the illumination of the slides has been checked.
