Museums' Night

Saturday, May 16, on the occasion of the fifth edition the Museums? Night, the Museum of Art and the Museum ?Casa Muresenilor? of Brasov widely opened their doors to all tourists and inhabitants who wanted to spend a pleasant night at the museum. The Museums? Night is a European-wide event initiated in 2005 by the Ministry of Culture and Communication of France, in which participate thousands of museums of various European countries.
Culture by Night
The two museums of Brasov offered the local audience a very interesting program, supported by their partners - The Opera, The Philharmonic, The Faculty of Music, "Tudor Ciortea" Music School, The Cultural Centre Reduta, ?Strada? Theatre.
The vocal and instrumental recitals, the representations of the theatre troupes, the pantomime moments, the demonstrations of painting and graphics created excitement among the spectators who appreciated the artistic creations but also had the opportunity to freely enjoy the objects exhibited in the museums.
The Museums? Night proved that Brasov has many inhabitants eager to discover the cultural treasures of the town; the museums curators' expectations were exceeded by the great number of visitors.
