The town hall and the Local Council of Prejmer commune in partnership with the County Centre for Conservation and Promotion of Traditional Culture Brasov, the Association Euro- Rural Prejmer and the Orthodox Parish Prejmer organized, Sunday 29 June, the 4th edition of Prejmer?s Days. As mayor Serban Toderica stated, the event?s purpose was the emphasize the importance of the promotion and conservation of local cultural patrimony, the involvement of the inhabitants in cultural and sporting activities and the celebration of the titular saints of Saint Apostles Peter and Paul Church of Prejmer.
Outdoor Program
Prejmer?s Days gathered alongside the inhabitants many tourists who have had the opportunity to attend an exceptional outdoors program, but also to visit the Citadel and the museums inside the Fortress and admire the Knights of Barsa Fortresses.
Fishing Contest
The program also included a fishing contest has attracted many keend of this recreational sport. Since morning, the competitors armed with lines competed in fishing the trout. The winner of "The Prejmer?s Trout" contest, organized by SC Bioprodadriflor SRL managed to catch an hour in 4.2 kg of fish, but another competitor caught the largest specimen.
After the fishing contest, football fans followed at the stadium Lunca Calnicului the competition of eight local teams.
Knights and Weapons
The park in front of the Fortress hosted the show performed by Magic Art band. The Knights of Barsa Fortresses performed an interactive program with the public - medieval dances and fights. There were also been the Tournament of the Knightly Weapons and a fire show. The Knights taught the children the handling technique of their weapons.
Splendid fireworks ended the fourth edition of Prejmer?s Days.
