The first Business Incubator

At the beginning of October the first Business Incubator of Brasov was realized through a United Nations Development Program (PNUD), financed by the National Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises and Cooperation, and supported by the County Council (CC) Brasov. The local management will be ensured by the Incubator?s Administrator, Dima Consulting Group, selected through the public purchase procedure, according to the working legislation.
300.000 $ Investment
The Business Incubator?s inauguration was attended by the ambassador of Japan at Bucharest, Mr. Kanji Tsushima, the ONU resident coordinator Soknan Han Jung, the PNUD socio-economic program director Florin Banateanu, the counsellor of the National Agency Gabriela Teasca, the incubator?s administrator Doru Dima, the Foreign Relations? director within the CC Brasov Mihai Pascu, counsellors, businessmen and media.
The CC president Aristotel Cancescu emphasized that the investment amounting to 300.000 dollars was financially supported by the United Nations, the Japan?s Government, the CC Brasov and the National Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises.

The ONU resident Soknan Han Jung mentioned that the Japan?s Government unfolds four projects in Romania for the women living in the country, in four units within
four counties: Giurgiu, Calarasi Vaslui and Buzau. She also recorded the three
incubators to be established in Brasov, Covasna and Alba.
The Japan?s ambassador at Bucharest spoke Romanian and remarked the collaboration existing between Brasov and Japan through the Cultural Centre Musashino:
?I know how hard it is to get funds from the Japan?s Government. Your success in doing this proves the quality of your documentation. We support the business environment
and strongly recommend the small and medium enterprises to increase their efficiency?.
Irredeemable Grants
The Business Incubators are meant to support the newly established small and medium
enterprises with a maximum two years operating period. Within the establishment and development program for business incubators in Romania irredeemable grants will be assigned to support the economical and social development of the interested areas.
The incubators are meant to fit within the regional strategic frame, determined by their economical priorities.
