Feldioara, a new destination in the heart of Romania

For the opening of the Tourism Fair of Romania, the autumn edition, organized at Romexpo, during November 14th – 17th 2019, Feldioara Citadel was represented with the stand supported by the Brasov County Council. For the official opening of the fair, Virgil-Daniel Popescu, the minister of Economy, Energy and Business Environment, also with attributions in the field of Tourism, visited the stand and appreciated the promotion of Brasov County in the fair.
Monographic album
„On this occasion we offered the minister a monographic album of Feldioara commune. We have been talking about this and reached subjects of interest for our community. The most important one was the recognition of our commune as Feldioara, a new destination in the heart of Tara Barsei. 4 exceptional days with interaction with the public and our colleagues in the activity of touristic promotion of the country”. declared Sorin Taus, the Mayor of Feldioara commune.
Touristic promotion
The participation in the tourism fair brought some benefits: new friends and contacts, meetings with representatives of the national and local touristic information centres in the country, tens of discussions with successful people in this field, invitations to new profile events, hundreds of interactions with tourists, distribution of informative materials, encouraging thoughts, all confirming the good promotion direction of the cultural-historical patrimony of Feldioara commune.

Violeta Karmen, a local popular craftswoman, participated in the stand with a craft workshop (old lace, frivolite technique).
