Textile Art Creations
The exhibition integrates unique and profoundly personal textile art creations (costumes, masks, tapestries, trimmings, photos, video installations) made from various materials proving that it is always possible to follow another way than the one imposed by the society, education, economy or nature. Overcoming the rules, we can open towards another utopian and poetic reality. By the diversity of the materials used, we see the multitude of identities, memories and interpersonal relations marking the joint imaginary of modern societies and spotlights that the circulation of people, same as of resources, objects and ideas is an essential and determinant part of humankind history.
Reference to the quotidian
The exhibition is inviting the visitor to see it in a critical manner and to think about the big problems modern societies face, problems that are affecting all the countries and influencing the way in which we look at the world and the manner we see each other.
