"Libris Cultural" Brasov Association organized, in July 2015, the 4th edition of the Book and Music Festival in the Council Square of Old Town Brasov. For five days, the people from Brasov enjoyed several cultural events where the joy of purchasing a good book combined with quality music. The festival is part of the "Brasov 2021 ? European Capital of Culture ? candidate city" campaign.
Cultural landmark
After three successful editions, the Festival from Brasov already now a traditional cultural landmark of July, organized by the "Libris Brasov" Cultural Association in partnership with: Brasov Town Hall and Brasov Local Council, is still the same amazing and balanced event, preserving the atmosphere that made it famous in the first place. People from Brasov were given discounts and promotions by the publishing houses and record companies. There were more than 35 stands presenting books from different fields (Romanian and universal literature, psychology, family and couple?s therapy, personal development, health and diet, spirituality, business, books for children, books in foreign languages, etc.) of publishing houses and book providers.
Launches and recitals
The Mountana Ecology Centre participated with a photographic art exhibit having as a theme the agro-pastoral landscapes. The people from Brasov were also attracted by the sculpture and graphic art exhibit by Natu Florin.
The publishing and discography richness in the festival was doubled by the multiple launches, recitals and shows that left their particular mark on the cultural event. Readers had the chance to get together and exchange opinions with the writers from Brasov. As an innovative element, the Festival hosted poetry recitals, martial art and Chi Kung demonstrations.

On the stage of the festival performed the following artists: Rona Hartner & Tha Zuralia Orchestra, Coco Band, Marius G. Dragomir, Adrian Ivanitchi, Dinu Olarasu, Marius Batu, Oana Lianu, Maria Lobont, Ana Toncean Crisa, Mihaiu Emil and "Ardealul" folk music band, Rodica Stan, Ioana Bozga, Lucia Potra, Anatoly quintet, Magura Codlea Ensemble and "Muresul" Artistic Group with the soloists: Dorina Oprea, Mariana Santean Faghiura, Narcisa and Teodor Togorean, Dorina Grad etc.
