Multimedia Church in Cincșor

During this period of time, Association Contrafort Pro Kleinschenk/Cincsor is carrying out the Multimedia Cultural Church project aiming at improving the visiting experience of the fortified church in Cincsor, Brasov County, and also at the increase of the tourist number. Within this project we are developing a guide-app, available online, accessible for visitors on tablets and on a tactile screen inside the fortification.
The historical information
The historical information related to the monument and the community is complemented by architectural plans, archive images, images with objects in the patrimony of the Evangelical Parish Cincsor that cannot be exhibited because of preservation or security reasons and even by audio materials: samples of the local Transylvanian Saxon dialect and organ songs. Audio and video materials related to the history of music in Cincsor will play on a tactile screen, in an interactive exhibition.
Treasure hunt
The guide-app will be accompanied by a treasure hunt track meant to offer little tourists a unique visiting experience among the fortified churches in Transylvania. This project, co-financed by the Administration of the National Cultural Fund, is integrated in the cultural church concept the Association Contrafort Pro Kleinschenk/Cincsor has been applying to fortified church Cincsor for a few years.
Reinvention of the concept
Starting from the reality of minimizing the cultic function, the cultural church concept means that the monument must host cultural-touristic events and activities to ensure survival, to reinvent and preserve utility both at community level and at general level.
